    Bridging Organizational Change
    and Digital Potential

ABOUT

Cluj Innovation Days. It is an occasion we like to dedicate to innovation, to cross-industry and cross-sector cooperation, to new business models and partnerships. Although the conference is not an IT event, technology is always a pretext as nowadays progress and innovation are not possible without the support of IT&C. This year’s edition will take place during 30th and 31st of May and will be hosted by the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca.

Economies worldwide are undergoing a rapid process of transformation triggered by the dramatic changes in technology. Some countries and regions are finding efficient ways to address this change, while others are facing hard challenges. This is all the more valid for countries and regions that bear the legacy of a centralized economy where decisions were usually very far from any reality of the market. It is not unusual that in such regions, both the administration and educational systems are not fully adapted to the requirements of a market driven economy. Yet, to be globally competitive, organizations of all sorts need to quickly find models of transformation and take advantage of their digital potential. Through this year’s edition of Cluj Innovation Days we will explore the ways in which this can happen.

We will be looking together, speakers and participants, to answer to some fundamental questions:

What is our prospect in a world where technology seems to overtake everything?

What are our means to take advantage of the digital transformation process? Is digital transformation possible without a cultural change?

Where can we insert our skills and knowledge? What else to we need to learn?

How global is global? Are we ready to tap into the potential of international markets?

What are some new areas where we could find a competitive advantage for our endowments?

The answers to these questions are tightly connected to our willingness to transform ourselves, to shift the way we are thinking and organizing our businesses and professional activities. But equally, they reflect in our personal lives. Let’s find out together if we are ready for all this or not.
