Alexandru Rusu

Dr. Alexandru Rusu is the Leader of Strategic Research in Biozoon GmbH, Germany. He holds a Ph.D degree, having extensive background in different areas of biotechnology and food research. He is having a combined experience in academia and industry and a strong professional know –how in managing European collaborative RTD projects. He possesses a successful track record, both as project participant and as coordinator, in managing numerous European RTD projects, especially under the FP7 and Horizon 2020 EU Framework Programmes. Starting from transition of business models during the changing times, his intervention will gradually highlight innovations within a framework of health and nutrition. It comprises also several approaches taken through EU funded projects and addresses at the same time aspects related to funding for research and innovation within the EU Horizon 2020.
