She holds a PhD in Biotechnology, and has been involved in a Socrates Intensive Programme for ‘Food and Health’. Dr. Trif participated within EU COST 865, and managed other national and European projects (FP7 and Horizon 2020) related to development of the personalised food and implementing the ecessary process engineering related to the personalized formulations. More than 10 years of successful acquisition of funding for the implementation of Research & Innovation Actions projects - on national level and international level, and acts as Independent Expert (Evaluator, Reviewer and Rapporteur) by European Commission.
