Tibor Gyorbiro

With 4 years of M&A and equity analyst background focused on renewable and green technologies he joined PortfoLion in 2013. He had the opportunity to lead numerous later stage VC and PE investments in the region mostly focusing on digitalization. The main goal is to build up an investment portfolio which facilitates knowledge transfer and further growth. Being with PortfoLion, he had the opportunity to support and finance digital start-ups in the region. Let it be deep tech, fraud prevention or big data, we managed to find common ground with the founders and supported them on their way. I’m especially proud of leading a series of acquisitions with a prominent OTA, szallas.hu in the region. The company already transformed the Hungarian travel landscape and is on the perfect way to do the same in the region.
